Hobbiton - Lord of the Rings Movie Set

One of the most touristy things you can do when visiting New Zealand is go to Hobbiton, the Lord of the Rings Movie.

So....

IM GOING ON AN ADVENTURE!

We had rented a car the day prior in Auckland and drove down to Rotorua. This means we were only about an hour away from Hobbiton. We booked the 9am tour so we got up super early and drove down to Hobbiton.

When we got to Hobbiton around 8:30am it was very foggy! I was quite worried that I would have come all this way to see fog...

However once 9am came around the sun and warmed everything up and cleared away the fog.

Our tour started and we were on our way! We took a short bus ride into the field. From there our wonderful tour guide walked us around to see 45 hobbit homes. Here are a few of my favourites!
