Friday June 9 Our flight got into Copenhagen around 20:20. We took the metro to Forum and then walked about 5mins to Hotel Euroglobe where we were staying. By the time we got to our hostel and got sorted it was close to 10:30. We were told there were a bunch of places to eat around the corner. As we wondered down the street in the pouring rain we quickly noticed that nothing was open past 22:00..... The only place we were able to find would still feed us was a kebab spot. We had burgers with coke and chocolate milk, it hit the spot and tied us over until the morning. Saturday June 10 Started our morning with a walk to Nyhavn, a 17th-century waterfront canal. On the way we were handed some free Nescafe drinks, hesitantly I took 2 (he he he). We arrived at Nyhavn took our pictures and then hopped on the Grand Tour Of Copenhagen boat tour! It was an hour long, 80dkk each and our wonderful tour guide was Jonathan.

Once the boat tour finished we walked about 20mins to the see the famous Little Mermaid.

As lunch has more of the local dishes we made our way back to Nyhavn and had lunch at Cap Horn and got the Lunch Plate which gave us a lovely selection of local lunch dishes which Denmark is known for.

After lunch we went back to our hostel to chill and charge for about an hour and then head to the train station for.... a spontaneous trip to SWEDEN for a Swedish meatball dinner! It was only a 20min walk from our hostel to the Copenhagen Central Station and then a 45min train ride to Malmö Central. So we didn't find any meatballs in Sweden but we also didn't venture too far from the train station either. Instead we stopped off at (what we didn't realize at the time) the Savoy hotel and had some very expensive dessert cause we realized we couldn't afford dinner (frankly we couldn't afford dessert but we brought snacks to eat for the next couple days to make up for it lol). We wandered around after our grotesquely expensive tiny dessert (this is 2 timmbit sized apple things and cost 135 dkk roughly $25 CAD..... I'm trying to to cry so we laughed instead)

We ended up seeing a beautiful sunset and sat and enjoyed the view before getting on a train back to Copenhagen.

From there.... we went back to that same burger spot we found the first night and had our legit dinner for a reasonable price (4 thumbs up from us 2). Sunday June 11 Today we head to Berlin, our flight wasn't until 3:00 so we had a nice easy relaxing morning. We stopped for some coffee at Expresso House by the train station and then moseyed our way to the airport. During our wandering to the train station we stopped for a little Canadian appreciation photo shoot.

Check out what we did in Berlin !
